Character Background:
Likes:
Sweets: Lili is fond of anything sweet, but her absolute favorite candy is chocolate.
Reading: If she isn’t studying for class, in class, embroidering, or in the dining hall, Lili can be found reading – either in the common room, or in the library. She’s fond of all types of books.
Cute things: Anything that can be described with the words tiny, fluffy, little, or adorable. Bunny rabbits are an especial favorite.
Meeting new people: Lili is shy, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying company.
Cheese fondue: It is her favorite food.
Embroidery and sewing: It’s relaxing for her, as she enjoys making things to give to people.
Dislikes:
Spiders: She doesn’t have a horror story to go along with this fear – but if she knows that a spider is there, she’ll generally freeze up or go in the other direction.
Fights: Being timid, Lili prefers quiet. Thus, fights tend to make her withdraw into herself. She’d much rather everyone get along.
Thunderstorms: Mild ones just cause her a bit of discomfort; violent ones have her trembling.
Rude, loud people: She feels intimidated by them.
Small spaces: Lili is claustrophobic. Therefore, any small, enclosed space, or any completely dark space, will cause her to panic.
Personality: Lili is a quiet girl, more apt to blush and fall completely silent than to enter a conversation – especially if there are more than one or two others present. She is known to speak up if an issue she firmly believes in is presented, however, and has no problem making her opinions known in that case.
Her hobbies include reading and embroidery, first and foremost; if she’s got free time on her hands, she’ll be doing one or the other without fail. That is, if all her homework and studying is done. She can’t stand the thought of failure, which would disappoint her family to no end.
She’s rather more of a loner than a social butterfly, and very studious. If someone gets past her shy exterior, they’ll find a warm and caring friend, one who is apt to put a friend’s happiness before her own.
Pet?: Yes, a two year old female Turkish angora named Blume.
Background: Lili was born in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, to a prominent wizarding family. Her mother had married her father the year before she was born, so they were the perfect pureblood family.
Even as a child, she was timid; her first school-going experience ended with her in tears and a resolution to just home school her. As her teachers cycled out, some bringing other students with them, some not, Lili slowly began to grow into her talents. Her outright fear of other students and new people dissipated, enough so that when her tutors suggested that she go to Hogwarts for finishing her degree, she agreed to try it.
She will be renting a flat somewhere in England between school terms, so that they don't have to travel quite so much. Now that she’s in University, her family has been pressuring her to choose her profession, but like everything else Lili does, she wishes to take her time and make the right decision the first time through.
Relations with other characters:
Ravenclaw students: She knows by name and sight most of those in her house, though she’s likely not spoken to many.

The Zwingli siblings had planned a trip to Italy for nearly a year now. Well, not quite – it just felt that long to Lili as she’d needed to convince Vash to spend the money. But he’d acquiesced, as she’d known he would, when she continued to plead with him. He needed the time away, too – he worked too hard. She’d convinced him to take a month, and had supplied him with a list of things that he ought to bring, and things he ought to leave behind. (“No, Bruder, you don’t need to bring your guns. Any of them. Besides, you can’t get them through the airports.”)
They’d been here close to three days, and had both adjusted to the change in time zone relatively well. All right, she was still tired, but when he’d offered to take her shopping, how could she say no? Her brother was actually willing to spend money. And shopping in Italy! It was something she’d remember forever.
Sometime in their wanderings, however, it had started to rain. And then pour. And they’d gotten separated in the pops and whooshes of umbrellas opening and jackets being pulled on and the sudden rush of people. She stood where she’d finally been able to make her way to the side of the crowd, hands clasped in front of her, bright green eyes darting from face to face. None were her brother.
“Vash?” She called softly, and then slightly louder, “Big bruder?” No answer. And she was drenched. But she didn’t know the way back to the hotel, and didn’t have a key at any rate, nor did she have her phone. Hers was in his pocket, along with his phone, and her wallet, because he trusted his abilities to keep them from pickpockets better than hers.
Firmly forbidding herself to cry did no good. One tear slid down her cheek, then another, mingling with the rain. It was silly, she knew, but she was scared – scared, and drenched, and all alone in Italy, with no way to reach her brother. What was he going to say?
