Rearranging her scarf for the umpteenth time as she walked quickly to the arranged meeting point, glancing at her watch to ensure she was still on time. Luckily she hadn't managed to run into any delays since leaving the main campus as she had a habit of being caught in.
Reaching the meeting point outside the Seamstress, she checked her watch once again to ensure that she was indeed quite early. Looking around for any sign of Lilli, a glimmer of royal blue cashmere from the shop window opposite caught Clementine's eye. Approaching slowly to get a clearer view of the embroidery along the hem, she surveyed the long cloak, looking it up and down, noting the quality of the needlework and and fur trim along the hood. It looked slightly heavy for the current weather but there would always be a time for everything, especially for something as beautiful as this. Also, she noted to herself that it would match perfectly with that black dress of her's that was still in the back of her closet.
Noting that the time was now closer to the appointed meeting time, Clementine noted with brief sadness that she did not have the time to purchase the cloak with the amount of time she had left. Looking back fondly at the mannequin in the window as she returned to her previous position. She would have to come back later and hope someone else didn't get to it first

Lili glanced at the grandfather clock in the common room. Oh... oh, goodness! How had it gotten to be quite so late? She'd be late for sure if she didn't leave soon...
She scrambled to her feet, muttering a hasty charm under her breath and waving her wand to have her things pack themselves neatly. Normally, she wouldn't trust the magic to do a better job than she could - if she started depending upon magic for every little thing, then she'd soon be no better than a slave to it - but she had no time. Hurriedly, she changed out of her school uniform into something slightly more casual for a shopping trip with Clementine, then slipped her feet into ankle boots and dashed out the door, her bag slung over one shoulder, wand in residence.
She didn't run - running wasn't proper and besides, she didn't want to trip and fall and hurt herself. That would do no one any good. Two minutes after their appointed meeting time, Lili stopped next to the Slytherin girl, hair slightly tousled and ribbon out of place. "H-Hallo, Clementine... I-I'm sorry I'm late... I was... I j-just was so focused on my essay that I... I lost track of time..." She stammered, reaching up to attempt to affix her ribbon properly.

Clementine smiled broadly when she saw Lili approaching quickly and held up her hand in a brief wave. "Lili! How nice for you to be able to join me" Clementine greeted the Ravenclaw cheerfully, kissing her once on both cheeks, a sign of familiarity.
"Don't worry about it, you're right on time" quickly dismissing Lili's apology "No need to apologise for being studious". Clementine quickly wondered if she had finished those essays she had from Transfiguration, she'd have to double check later. Noticing that Lili was fiddling with her ribbon, Clementine smiled at her friend's timidity and reached to tie the ribbon more securely in her hair"Here, let me get that for you"
"Since its been a while since we last saw each other and since it'll be getting colder, what do you think about getting some new coats?" She asked, still smiling brightly and ushering the Ravenclaw into the closest store.

Lili smiled brightly as Clementine reassured her. She'd been sure, mostly, that Clementine would say that, but she had also not wanted to assume. She returned the kisses without thinking about it, something that showed just how comfortable she was with the Slytherin girl. Well, they had been friends for forever, after all. There was no reason for Lili to not feel completely at ease with Clementine.
As the other girl tied her ribbon, Lili smiled faintly. "D-Danke, Clementine." She couldn't lose her ribbon. It was very dear to her... probably one of her dearest possessions.
"Oh, j-ja... that does sound like a good idea..." She didn't know how cold it would get in the British Isles, but a new coat or cloak was never a bad plan. As the other girl ushered her into the store, she smiled softly and looked around. "H-how have you been? I-I've missed you..."

Pulling the ribbon tight and securing it to Lili's hair, Clementine stepped back to admire her work. "There, all done."
Holding the heavy door to the store open for the smaller girl, Clementine let the ringing of the bell it had triggered stop before answering Lili's question. "I've been doing very well. School has been quite hectic but I think I'm keeping on top of everything. It's a shame we haven't had a chance to talk for a while, I've missed you too." She smiled once more, a tinge of sadness lacing it this time as she let her eyes wander around the cloaks put on display around the store. "So how have you been? Keeping well, I hope"
